Featuring a new way to search for interior designers on 1stdibs
1stdibs Trade clients are not only our buyers, but also considered our partners as well. If we see their businesses succeed, then ours will too. A more robust and searchable designer directory was created in order to help consumers who may be interested in interior design services find the designers they love. Trade members who have reached a high enough tier will get a designer profile, and be featured in the directory.
We’ve created “cards” to showcase Trade members interior design work and mini profiles in the directory. Clicking into their full profiles are included here as well, where a consumer can view all of their interior design projects and links to their social media, other articles where they’re featured, and more.
1stdibs has an Interiors “Rooms” page where a consumer can browse interior design work by style and room type, either for inspiration, or if they’re looking to hire a designer. If they click into a project, they’ll be able to see who the designer is and easily see more of their projects, their profile, and connect with them as well.
In addition to the directory, rooms pages, and designer profiles, 1stdibs also offers Designer Connection, which is a service that connects consumers with trade members on 1stdibs. This is just one of the areas where we’re promoting the service, within Favorites, where the consumer is likely to be decorating a room and possibly need interior design services.
